BLM RECENTLY ANNOUNCED THE CLOSURE OF THE CLEAR CREEK MAMAGEMENT AREA FOR FURTHER ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STUDIES. ACCESS TO THE BENITOITE GEM MINE REMAINS OPEN, HOWEVER, WITH PERMITS OBTAINED THROUGH OWNER DAVE SCHREINER. WE ALL LOOK FORWARD TO A GREAT SUMMER OF COLLECTING ON THE MINE.
